Zone 1 includes the following destinations: Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Brisbane (BNE), Adelaide (ADL), Gold Coast (OOL), Hobart (HBA), Launceston (LST) and Canberra (CBR).
Zone 2 includes the following destinations: Cairns (CNS), Townsville (TSV), Gold Coast (OOL), Newcastle (NTL) and Maroochydore (MCY)

Until recently, New Zealand has been one of the best kept secrets in the film world. It's quite possibly the only place on earth where, within a few hours, you can move from sub-tropical rainforests to snowy alps, to lush green farmland, sandy beaches, craggy coastlines, high country sheep and cattle stations, citrus groves or the steel and glass towers of major cities. Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Whale Rider, The Last Samurai, Vertical Limit and The Piano are just a few of the big name productions filmed in New Zealand. We invite you to journey through the spectacular landscapes, and even visit some of the movie set locations on this incredible journey of New Zealand Movies and Film.

Lord Of The Rings Trilogy Escorted Tour

New Zealand is "Middle Earth"! The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy has finished it's filming in New Zealand however the sets have not all been taken down. Most of the scenery and backgrounds shown in the movie are the "real thing". New Zealand is spectacular at the least with it's varied landscapes, strong Maori culture, friendly people and was the perfect setting for "Middle Earth". Re-visit scenes from the trilogy by taking an escorted tour with the only "official" Lord Of The Rings locations tour company (see itinerary below). Put yourself in the movie by visiting the locations and even sleep, drink and eat where the cast members did! Self-drive options are also available.
